FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the requirements?

The only real requirements I have is that you must be 18 years of age or older and in very fit shape.
Generally speaking, “in-shape” is defined as having visible muscle definition, especially in the abdominal area, pectoral area, arms and glutes.
I am looking for varied body types, from bodybuilders to the boy-next-door.

The models most people find attractive are the ones they see every day, their co-workers, students, the neighbor – real men, usually with more than a little attitude. So if you have tattoos, are bold, the wrong color or think you are too old, think again, I want to hear from you!  (Having said all that, I don’t turn away many 18 year old young men!  While we’re on the subject of age, here’s another shocker – you don’t have to be young, 18 is the minimum age required, 24-34 is ideal, but I won’t turn you away for being 40.  If you have good looks, have a great body, and a great attitude, I’ll shoot you.

Will I need previous
experience?

No previous experience is necessary,  you just need to be comfortable with your body,  comfortable with full frontal nudity,  face recognition, and willing to work naked in front of the camera.

Will I be asked or expected to go beyond my limits?

As an artist, I prefer to work ONLY with models that do not impose restrictions, imitations, or censorship on my creative abilities.  I, in turn  never limit my models in any way. I will photograph whatever a model may feel that he would like to do in a photo shoot.  I do expect that all models that I photograph be willing to expose all
body parts, including your face, rear, and genitalia area, without reservations.  Models that I photograph
must be willing to pose totally nude without restrictions.

Before an actual photo shoot, we will have an interview and a chat  to determine if we are of the same mindset, and the direction that is of interest to you. After the conversation, if we are both satisfied, you will sign the "model release" and we will do a quick test photo shoot (30 to 60 minutes) to determine your natural talent, your ability to follow my direction, and your comfort level.

Do you shoot
adult material?

Some photo shoots may be of a suggestive sexual nature, therefore could be classed as erotic.   Most of the Models that I have photographed have gotten erections during a shoot, some more frequently than others. This is a natural reaction and nothing to be concerned about.  I never discourage a Model it that happens. Some Models do it intentionally, others do not, but it does happen frequently.

However, with that being said,  if you think you would want to explore the adult arena, that is certainly always an option.  As stated above, I never impose any limitations or restrictions on my Models and I am not opposed to that genre.  Some of the Models that I have collaborated with  have been interested in adult imagery and an adult career.  I am willing to discuss all of your ideas, aspirations, interests, fantasies, and to explore that arena with any Model.  Photo shoots with another same sex Model or Models could possibly be arranged if that were of interest.  If you have interest in a shoot with another Model of your acquaintance, that is also a possibility. However I would need to interview and test shoot both/all Models prior to an actual  photo shoot.

Where do you do the shoots?

A photo shoot can be anywhere!  Everything from the models own houses, to my studio in Houston, to shoots in other locations.  My preference is in real locations, but weather and privacy concerns often dictates studio photo shoots as a necessity.

What if I regret having done the shoot?

You will be required to sign a model release before the shoot giving the photographer full ownership of all images and to allow me to distribute the pictures as I choose.  Photographs created by the photographer become the intellectual property of the photographer, not the model.  Therefore, once the shoot is done, there is no going back.  Be absolutely sure of your own mind before going ahead with the shoot.  I won’t let you shoot until we're certain you’ve thought it all through very carefully.

What does this cost me to start working?

Nothing, I pay you! Posing nude is not difficult, you’ll pick it up within the first 20 minutes of your first shoot. In fact I have discovered that many males with absolutely no previous modeling experience are naturals.
There are no agency fees, portfolios to buy or training to undertake, if accepted, you start work right away.

What do I need to bring to the shoot?

First and most importantly, you must bring along at our interview / initial meeting a valid photo ID.
A passport or valid drivers license is ideal.  Without photo ID (to prove you are over 18) the shoot CANNOT take place. Often I will provide outfits or costumes for you to wear in a shoot, but I may ask you to bring along some items as well. Real things you wear like jeans, T-shirts and trainers are just as useful as sexy underwear, so you may be asked to bring both!  Other than that, I will discuss with you when the shoot is booked, exactly what’s needed.  You will never be asked to buy anything especially for the shoot.
If you don’t have something I want or need,  I’ll provide it.

Do I get some of the pictures?

You are more than welcome to have some of your pictures. I may even help you set up a professional portfolio, should you wish to continue with modeling. Should you want the photos we create,  you would
need to bring a thumb drive of at least 16 gigabytes. The photographs you receive after the shoot is
completed will be unedited.
All images you receive may be used for your personal "non commercial" purposes only, with my
expressed permission.

I really want to do a shoot but my boyfriend/girlfriend
is against it or doesn’t even know.

Your private life is your business, however I would strongly advise you talk it through with your significant other before doing the shoot. Secrets and lies are a bad idea, as is going against their wishes. Most react very positively, if told before hand, and even those who don’t react well in the beginning, usually come around in the end. However all interviews and photo shoots are with the Model/Models and Photographer only.
Other persons are not allowed to be at any interview or shoot under any circumstances.

I’m sold, what do I do now?

Just get in touch, by completing the application form telling me about you, and submitting it to me along with some nude images of yourself clearly showing your unobstructed face and full front nude and rear nude body.  Any information you give me will be kept strictly confidential.

Will I make a lot of money?

Yes, you will make some money, better than any normal job. Modeling fees are determined after an Interview and test shoot and will depend on many factors.
However your prime motivation should never be just money, especially it you have little or no experience.
You should want to try modeling because it is something you want to do as much for the experience,  for learning a real skill,  for the creativity,  and for the recognition,  to develop a portfolio, as well as for just the pay. The experience may be the beginning of a career.
